More Than Just an Assignment: Lessons From Week 3 of my TWS Internship

This week of my internship gave me the chance to work on several different projects and continue building my skills. I created graphic designs for Universal Tech Movement (UTM), RISE Child Development Center (RISE), and TwoWardsOneLove (TWOL) using Canva. I also found clips for a video editing assignment, and made my first resume. Out of everything I worked on, my favorite project was creating the graphic design for TWOL because it gave me the most freedom to be creative and try out different design ideas.

One challenge I faced this week was finding the right clips for the video editing assignment. It took some time to search for clips that matched the theme and would work well together. Even though I wasn't editing the video myself, I learned that finding good footage is an important part of making a quality video.

One thing I learned this week was how much of a difference good spacing can make in graphic design. After getting feedback, I went back and adjusted the spacing on my designs, and it made everything look much cleaner and easier to read. I also became more comfortable using Canva and learned more about creating graphics that look professional.

Another lesson I learned this week was how important time management is. Since I had several assignments to complete, I had to stay organized and make sure I didn't fall behind. Next week, my goal is to continue improving my graphic design skills while managing my time even better. Overall, this week helped me become more confident in my work, and I'm excited to keep learning throughout the internship.
