My name is Byron, and my time working at TwoWards Solutions over the past week has been pretty interesting and helpful. What I enjoyed most was learning new digital skills I didn’t really know before. I got to work on finding vendors for companies, write and respond to professional emails, and use AI tools to help me with things like spelling, grammar, research, and finishing tasks. I also learned about project management and used tools like Asana and Google Workspace, which helped me understand how real work projects are organized.

One of the main challenges I had in week 1 was with writing social media content. It was hard at first to understand how to write in the company’s voice, figure out the right audience, and make sure everything sounded right. Setting up LinkedIn was also a little challenging given the platform's age restrictions, but it wasn’t too bad once I figured it out. I’m glad Desere (the CEO and co-founder of TwoWards Solutions and also my supervisor) helped guide me and put me in the right direction when I needed it.
During this internship, I feel like I improved a lot in social media writing and overall communication. I also got more comfortable using AI tools to help me with my work, especially for research and grammar, and it helped me get things done faster. I think over time I’ll keep getting better at these skills.
Going forward, I plan to use what I learned in school and in future jobs or internships. I’m really interested in technology, and how things like AI, the internet, and games work behind the scenes. This internship helped me understand how useful these tools are in real jobs, and I feel more confident using them now.
Week 1 was all about getting familiar with the workflow and adjusting to the pace. Another challenge I ran into was learning how to organize my tasks while still keeping up with due dates. At first, it felt a little overwhelming, but I started breaking things down step by step, which made it easier to manage. By the end of the week, I felt more comfortable with the process and more confident in my ability to stay on track. I’m looking forward to building on that progress in the next week.
