Returning from holiday break for Week 4 of my TwoWards Solutions internship brought me an exciting shift in focus as I transitioned from hands-on content creation into high-level marketing strategy. My main highlight was learning the foundational components of what makes a strategy successful and kicking off the framework for S.W.O.T. analyses for our key clients: RISE Child Development Center (RISE), Universal Tech Movement (UTM), and TwoWardsOneLove (TWOL).

Stepping into an analytical mindset presented a new learning curve this week. After spending so much time on visual graphic design and video editing, shifting gears to break down business strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats required a completely different type of focus. Balancing my ongoing video editing tasks while diving deep into strategic research was challenging but rewarding, but I overcame this by using Google Tasks to block out dedicated, focused time for each project.

My major “aha!” moment came while studying the High-Impact Marketing Strategies presentation slides on my own. Breaking down the material independently gave me a solid grasp of the concepts, which made it so much easier to follow along and

participate during the team’s strategy workshop. During this workshop, we used a TWS client example to break down the components of a strategy. Reviewing a real-life strategy as a team and discussing how to map out an organization's strengths and weaknesses made the transition into high-level strategy a lot more interactive and engaging.

Looking ahead to next week, my main objective is to put these strategic frameworks into action. I plan to focus completely on completing the S.W.O.T. analyses for RISE, UTM, and TWOL, using everything I learned from my independent reading and today's team session to build strong, detailed profiles for each client.
