Diving into Week 5 of my internship at TwoWards Solutions brought a great balance of strategic analysis and hands-on professional experiences. My main focus this week was creating strategies for Universal Tech Movement (UTM), TwoWards-One-Love (TWOL), and RISE Child Development Center (RISE). Building off the concepts from our S.W.O.T. analysis workshop, I was able to use my analysis to create high-level strategies to help each of our clients reach their goals.

A major highlight of the week was our field trip to Universal Tech Movement, where we had the opportunity to present our visual designs directly to their Director of Growth Marketing & Operations. In addition to presenting our client work, we discussed as a team key takeaways from a presentation about high impact marketing strategies. Presenting my work and discussing my key takeaways about marketing strategies helped me bridge the gap between creative concepts and real-world connection.
Beyond strategy and client presentations, we also participated in an insightful website workshop. We covered the core pillars of strong website design–such as establishing visual hierarchy “above the fold” using the 5-second rule, applying clean aesthetics through the 60-30-10 color rule and typography, maintaining simple navigation and ensuring mobile responsiveness. We also learned how to structure an intern portfolio using a narrative approach, framing past projects around challenges, execution and results rather than just showing a final product/project.
Looking ahead, my goal is to start applying these web design principles and narrative structures directly to my own online portfolio. Having spent this week refining brand strategies, presenting designs to clients, and learning user-focused web design concepts, I feel much more equipped to showcase my work in a clean, impactful, and professional way.
